| The East Face of Whitney from Iceberg Lake. The Mountaineer's Route is the couloir right of center. If you look closely, you can see two people about halfway up it. The easiest way up, which I took, is to climb the cliffs in the center of the photo and traverse into the couloir above where the people are. I also climbed over to the little saddle just left of center so I could look up the East Face climbing routes. |
